Made in Japan in 2010, this FGN J-Standard is a beautifully built Japanese Jazz-style bass from FujiGen, one of Japan’s most respected guitar manufacturers.

Finished in a striking Red, the J-Standard takes the familiar twin-pickup Jazz Bass formula and gives it the precision and attention to detail FujiGen is known for. It has a comfortable, fast-playing neck and a nicely balanced body that feels immediately familiar in the hands.

The twin J-style pickups deliver plenty of classic Jazz Bass territory — warm and full from the neck pickup, tighter and more aggressive at the bridge, with that characteristic scooped and articulate sound when the two are blended together.

FGN basses are particularly well regarded for their build quality, fretwork and consistency, and their Japanese-made instruments offer a lot of bass for the money.
