Fender Junior Collection Jazz Bass | Made in Japan

The Fender Made in Japan Junior Collection Jazz Bass takes the classic Jazz Bass formula and packs it into a compact, lightweight 30" short-scale instrument.

Made in Japan and finished in Satin Surf Green with a Rosewood fingerboard, the Junior Jazz features a slightly downsized body at around 94% of standard size. Combined with the shorter scale, it’s extremely comfortable to play, with a softer feel under the fingers and easier stretches across the neck.

This particular bass has also received some serious upgrades, with the original electronics replaced by a set of DiMarzio Ultra Jazz pickups and a John East active preamp.

The DiMarzio Ultra Jazz pickups deliver a bigger, punchier take on the traditional Jazz Bass sound, with plenty of clarity, definition and low-end power. Paired with the John East preamp, there’s a huge amount of tonal flexibility on tap, taking this well beyond the standard Junior Jazz setup.

Vintage-style tuners and a four-saddle bridge keep the classic Fender look, while the compact dimensions make this a seriously fun and practical bass to play.
